The long-awaited Marugame Udon has finally opened at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. I’ve been tracking the progress on Marugame Udon for months now, and anxiously awaiting opening day. The udon chain originated in Japan and has a location downtown. Bringing amazing udon soup to the San Ramon area was extremely exciting to me.
On opening day yesterday, I headed to Marugame Udon to try their soup. It was wonderful, and I plan to share a longer review soon. In the meantime, take a look at Marugame on their opening day, and my first impressions of the experience of visiting.
