Prices are up all over the country, but the Bay Area is being hit especially hard by inflation

The Bureau of Labor Statistics just shared some sobering inflation numbers for San Francisco

Energy prices have had the most inflation of any spending category.

They've increased 13.5% in the last two months. Most of the pain is at the gas pump.

Food is also getting pricier due to inflation.

The average Bay Area family is projected to spend an extra $1,000 on food in 2022 due to inflation

Certain staple foods have become much more expensive. Eggs are up 7.3% in 2 months.

Entertainment costs are up, too. They increased 9% over the last year.
