7 Arrests As Concord Police Make Shoplifting “Blitz” Operation at Local Store
CONCORD, CALIFORNIA – The Concord Police Department said a recent “blitz” operation at a single store led to seven arrests as officers responded to a rise in thefts and calls for service at the location.

According to a department statement posted Sept. 30, the Financial Crimes Unit, working with the Special Enforcement Team and store loss-prevention staff, conducted the targeted operation. Police reported four felony arrests and three misdemeanor arrests.
The store, which was not identified, asked for more blitz operations heading into the holiday season, police said.
No additional details about the suspects or charges were released.
