Qdoba is Now Open in Walnut Creek, California

Qdoba, the popular fast-casual Mexican food restaurant, is now open in Walnut Creek, California.

Qdoba is an especially popular chain on the East Coast and has limited locations in the Bay Area. The new location in Walnut Creek, California is one of the first in the East Bay.

For fans of the chain, it’s an exciting thing to have this new restaurant open. The new Qdoba serves up Mexican cuisine right across from Sweet Affair Bakery in the shopping center near Heather Farms Park.

There’s a bit of outdoor seating as well as a counter where you can order bowls, burritos, tacos, and many other Mexican specialties. Qdoba also offers catering, so it’s a popular option for parties.

After the departure of some popular Walnut Creek restaurants around the downtown area, it’s nice to see new chains coming in.

It seems like more restaurants are opening in more affordable and suburban areas north of downtown. Mendocino Farm shares the same shopping center as Qdoba, as does The Breakfast Club, which is expected to open soon.
