Photos: Dumpling Time’s Decadent Dumplings, A Visual Feast from the Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Dumpling Time restaurant is one of the Bay Area’s best dumpling places. With locations at Thrive City, in San Jose and in San Ramon at City Center, Dumpling Time offers surprisingly upscale, delicious (if pricey!) dumplings and buns.

Start your meal at Dumpling Time with some crunchy pot stickers. They’re served as one big mass of dumpling deliciousness, and you peel off each potsticker as you eat.

Don’t miss Dumpling Time’s noodle dishes, too! They’ve got tasty noodle bowls, and plain noodles with soy sauce for the kids.

I love traditional steamed BBQ pork buns, and Dumpling Time does them really well. Dip them into soy sauce and a little hot chili oil. Amazing!

Dim Sum every day? Why not! I love the Shumai at Dumpling Time. These are my favorite item on their menu.

If You Don’t Mind the Spice

Don’t mind a little (okay, a lot) of spice? Try the lamb buns. You can actually see the hot peppers all over this one.

Super Colorful Dessert Buns

Think buns are only a savory item? Think again! Dumpling Time has dessert buns with sweet fillings like green tea and bean paste.
