Pleasant Hill, CA – The owners of the beloved Jack’s Restaurant and Bar have announced their latest venture: Cantina Jack’s. Set to open in the Summer of 2024, the new Mexican restaurant will be located in part of the old Sweet Tomatoes building in Downtown Pleasant Hill, California.
The Bay Area Telegraph visited the new location, which is currently under construction. We saw cooks getting trained–a strong sign that the restaurant will open soon!
The trio behind this new dining experience, David, John, and Chris, promise a vibrant atmosphere featuring a large covered patio with tables surrounding a U-shaped bar. Guests can expect to enjoy margaritas crafted from an extensive selection of tequilas, including Reposados, Añejos, Blancos, and Mezcals.
The menu will offer a variety of Mexican favorites such as tequila, sangria, Mexican beer, and wine, all within a beautifully designed indoor/outdoor setting. The culinary team, including three brothers known for their delicious offerings in the East Bay, will bring a unique twist to traditional Mexican cuisine.
Cantina Jack’s aims to provide a fun and welcoming experience for both regulars of Jack’s and new guests alike. The emphasis will be on delivering a south-of-the-border dining experience while ensuring everyone feels at home.
“We are excited for our opening in early Summer 2024 and look forward to introducing our Jack’s regulars (and new guests!) to a new, fun and delicious south-of-the-border experience, with the same Jack’s emphasis on making everyone feel at home,” said David, John, and Chris in a statement posted on the new restaurant’s front window.
As a special highlight, Cantina Jack’s plans to introduce its signature brand, Tres Griegos Tequila, adding an exclusive touch to their offerings.
Residents and visitors are eagerly anticipating the grand opening and the chance to enjoy the first shots of tequila together at Cantina Jack’s. We love Jack’s original restaurant and the new one promises to be awesome, too!
