The Kristi Yamaguchi ice rink is back in San Ramon, California for the Winter season, and it’s better than ever.
In the past, there was just ice skating. Now, there’s a ton more to do at the rink. It’s a downright classy experience!
First, of course, there’s the skating.
You’ll need to book a time. You can rent skates and equipment, and skate around on the rink which is located at City Center Bishop Ranch.
The reserved times ensure that the rink never gets too crowded. But you will want to plan ahead, since dropins aren’t guaranteed.
In addition to skating, though, the rink has added lots of other cool options this year. There’s a big picnic table you can rent for larger parties, like skating birthday parties or corporate holiday celebrations.
There are also fire pits you can rent and use to hang out and warm up with friends after skating. There’s even a bar serving hot chocolate, beer and wine.
The rink’s operator has a real Zamboni to keep the ice in perfect shape. They’re not cutting any corners here!
When you’re done skating, drop by City Center to grab some food or check out the Christmas tree for a fall photoshoot.
