SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA – A long-awaited, ultra-luxurious senior living development just opened in San Ramon, California, across from City Center.
Bishop Ranch started out in the 1980s as a big office park. Since then, they’ve been consistently working to add more day-to-day features to the office park – things that bring people there outside of work hours.
City Center Bishop Ranch is the most dramatic and awesome. We visit City Center at least once per week; it has some of the best restaurants in San Ramon.
More recently, Bishop Ranch has been adding housing. Luxurious townhomes and single-family homes are going in a bit north of City Center, but this week, one of the first new housing developments at Bishop Ranch has officially opened.
Belmont Village is a senior living development located right across from City Center.
It looks incredibly luxurious! The six-story apartment-style building apparently has sports lounges, a library, a creative arts studio, a full-service salon, a heated outdoor pool, two in-house restaurants, housekeeping and laundry services, bocce ball, and more.
The apartments look beautiful – all white minimalism with brand-new appliances and views of Mount Diablo.
Belmont Village is geared to cater to seniors looking for a nice apartment but also to serve people as they age.
There’s an assisted living and memory care section, as well as an intermediate Circle of Friends program for people with some memory challenges who are still living independently.
Belmont Village takes advantage of being so close to City Center and the other amenities in San Ramon. Active seniors can walk across the street to San Ramon Central Park or even take a bike ride or hike on the Iron Horse Trail.
Belmont Village is conducting tours, so you can book a time to visit if you’re interested.
This new development promises to be pricey but potentially perfect for seniors who want to downsize from larger Bay Area homes but still want to live in the lap of luxury.
The Bay Area Telegraph’s staff is still a few decades away from considering senior living, but we’ll try to stop by and check out the apartments so we can share some photos with you.
