TikTok Influencer Dogs Will Make Dentistry Fun For Your Kids at New Lafayette Practice

LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – How do you get your little kids to enjoy going to the dentist, rather than living in fear of it?

The answer, according to a new dental practice that just started up in Lafayette, is to bring in some influencer dogs.

Little Cloud Pediatric Dentistry recently opened in Lafayette in a nicely renovated building at 3549 Wilkinson Ln., next to Five Little Monkeys and behind Fiesta Square.

The practice belongs to board-certified pediatric dentist Rachel Forer. But the real stars are Pearl and Onyx, two AKC conformation dog show champions.

These beautiful, snow-white dogs have 270,000 followers on TikTok (far more than The Bay Area Telegraph) and are licensed therapy dogs.

According to the Little Cloud website, they know over 50 obedience and trick commands, and Pearl is certified by the AKC as “intermediate level trick dog.”

The dogs, who belong to Forer and her husband, are an integral part of the practice. They’re there to make kids feel safe and comfortable during cleanings and procedures.

To that end, the new office also has an indoor-outdoor play area, ceiling-mounted TVs, and other features to make going to the dentist genuinely fun.

The new practice offers preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, and even caters to special needs kids.

Forer has a background with UCSF and is able to offer sedation dentistry all the way up to general anesthesia in partnership with the hospital’s Walnut Creek outpatient surgery center.

It’s always great to see a new business open in Lafayette. We’re especially excited to see one anchored by two highly trained and beautiful dogs!
