Orinda’s Popular “Food Truck Thursdays” Lets You Taste the World Every Week This Summer

ORINDA, CALIFORNIA – We’re sharing a quick note that Orinda’s extremely popular Food Truck Thursdays is back for the Summer (technically it started in April this year), and you should definitely stop by.

The weekly event brings food trucks offering cuisine from around the world to the parking lot in front of the Orinda Community Park.

Each event takes place from 5pm – 8pm. You can grab a bit to eat, and then take a stroll through the community park, or set up for an evening picnic. The park has a nice playground area for kids, with a sandbox that my kids love.

The food trucks themselves are run by Taste of the World, a local food truck organizer, so they’re vetted for quality, and the cuisines are coordinated for each event to make sure there’s a solid selection, including savory and sweet foods.

Another perk? They always have a beer and wine truck!

I love the food trucks for a low-key evening outdoors in the 925. Make sure to check them out, running through October this year.
