Owners Sharon and Matt Billings announced the decision in late August, calling it a personal transition rather than a financial collapse.

Dear friends of Main St. Brewery,

It is with heavy hearts that, after 30 wonderful years, we will soon be saying goodbye. Serving you and your families has been one of the greatest joys.

We’ve shared meals, music, laughter, and stories. Along the way, we’ve made everlasting friendships, people we will always remember, and times that we will never forget.

Please feel free to stop by in the coming weeks to raise a glass, share a memory, and say goodbye. We would love the chance to see you before we close this chapter.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey.

Wishing you all the very best,

Matt & Sharon

Fans flooded social media with memories from shows and late-night burgers, underscoring the venue’s role as a community stage.

On its final day, the brewery plans a celebratory send-off featuring football and a live set by the Cocktail Monkeys. The address is 830 Main St. in Pleasanton.

There’s no word yet on what will replace the space. Regulars say they hope the room continues as a venue for local bands.
