LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Res Run for Education returns Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, with 2-mile, 5K, and 10K events through downtown. A virtual option on the Lafayette Reservoir’s paved trail runs Oct. 12–18.
The 10K includes a loop around the reservoir on race day. Strollers and dogs are allowed in the 2-mile fun run/walk, the 10K, and the Reservoir Challenge. For safety, skateboards, scooters, bikes and similar devices are not permitted.
A free Healthy Lifestyles Fair will take place from 7:30–10:30 a.m. on Lafayette Circle adjacent to La Fiesta Square on race morning.
The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette co-present the event. Oakwood Athletic Club is a long-time sponsor. Proceeds benefit local schools as well as Chamber services and programs. Community groups are encouraged to attend. Participants can direct donations to a school of their choice and may sponsor a teacher or staff member.
