San Ramon’s Iconic Ice Rink is About to Open, and We Have Details
The Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Rink at City Center Bishop Ranch returns Fri Nov 7 — now 8% larger — with daily public skating through Jan 4, 2026. Expect a classic ribbon cutting with Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi, performances, and carolers from 6–7 pm on opening night.

I love this ice rink, and make a point of visiting multiple times each year.

What’s new this season
- Bigger ice, same plaza magic. The open-air rink grows by 8% and keeps its 90-minute sessions with skate rentals included. General admission is $22 for ages 3+. A $90 season pass offers unlimited skating all season. New $10 Tuesdays run on select dates.
- Warm-up options. Private rink-side fire pits for up to 4 guests are available — $60 weekdays and $115 weekends — with an optional $15 s’mores bucket.

Sessions are offered daily at 1, 3, 5, and 7 pm. On Fri–Sun, the rink also opens at 11 am; Fri–Sat add a 9 pm late session.
