Clothing Store With SoCal Roots Just Opened at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA – There’s a new store with strong SoCal vibes here in WC!

Hollister — the clothing brand built around a laid-back Southern California style — has officially opened at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. The store debuted this week, bringing the label’s beachy basics and denim (loads of denim!) to the 925.

The new shop sits at Broadway Plaza, 1275 Broadway Plaza, and is keeping the center’s standard hours — typically 10 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm Sunday. Hollister lists its Walnut Creek address and phone on its store locator, and Broadway Plaza’s directory now shows Hollister live as well.

Why this opening matters

Broadway Plaza has been on a tear adding nationally known brands in 2025 — from athleisure leaders like Vuori in the spring to Abercrombie & Fitch in late summer — and Hollister continues that momentum heading into the holidays.

City updates and center posts have highlighted this year’s wave of arrivals across fashion and dining, underscoring the plaza’s strong foot traffic and appeal to big names.

What Hollister brings

Hollister trades on SoCal style — think relaxed denim, graphic tees, hoodies, and campus-ready basics with a surf-and-sand attitude. Broadway Plaza’s announcement framed the brand exactly that way, calling out California’s laid-back lifestyle as the inspiration. Expect the Walnut Creek store to lean into that aesthetic as fall rolls into holiday shopping season.

What do you think? Will you be stopping by for some (admittedly off season) beachware?
