7 Best Places for a Casual Meal Near Chase Center

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Heading to a game or a concert at Chase Center? This being San Francisco, there’s great food inside the arena.

But if you want a meal before the game–or perhaps you’d like something healthier or (a bit) cheaper–Thrive City outside Chase Center is a fantastic place to eat.

I visit Thrive City all the time. Here are 7 great places for a casual meal within an easy walk to the stadium–and often right outside!

Gott’s is a staple of upscale casual food in the Bay Area, and their Thrive City location right outside Chase Center is perfect for pre-game dining.

There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and you can grab a burger and shake before the big game. I love their ahi tuna tacos too.

  • Get: a classic cheeseburger (or ahi burger if you want to keep it lighter) + garlic fries + a shake
  • Where: 151 Warriors Way, Suite 102 (Gott’s Roadside)

2) Dumpling Time Thrive City

A crowd-pleaser when you want something shareable and fun. Dumplings are fast, satisfying, and easy to split with a group. Dumpling Time is pricey but delicious. This is more of a sit-down spot.

  • Get: xiao long bao + pork and chive dumplings + a veggie side for balance
  • Where: 191 Warriors Way, Suite 101

3) Señor Sisig Thrive City

Filipino-Mexican comfort food that hits the spot when you want bold flavors. Their tacos are tasty!

  • Get: sisig tacos or the burrito + sisig fries
  • Where: 151 Warriors Way, Suite 103 (Senor Sisig)

4) Che Fico Pizzeria

Pizza is never too formal. Yet this one stands out as a place to get a classy meal before the game (or concert).

  • Get: a seasonal pie + a simple salad so you do not feel wrecked in your seat
  • Where: 1 Warriors Way, Suite 300 (Che Fico Pizzeria)

5) Kayah by Burma Love

Burmese flavors, good drinks, and a vibe that works for both dates and friend groups. It is a nice step up from pure counter-service, but diners report it still has a relaxed and fun vibe. This would be an especially great spot for before a concert–save Gott’s, with its burgers and fries, for more pre-game types of vibes.

  • Get: tea leaf salad + a noodle dish (and share a couple small plates)
  • Where: 151 Warriors Way (vendor listing for Thrive City) (Chase Center)

6) SPARK Social SF

Spark Social is a food truck venue, which means it’s never the same between visits! The food on offer depends on which trucks are scheduled on a given day, and the fact that it’s food trucks means things are quite casual (and often, cheaper.)

  • Get: whatever looks best that day (the lineup changes) — then grab a drink and hang outside
  • Where: 601 Mission Bay Blvd. North (SPARK Social SF)

7) The Ramp Restaurant

A classic waterfront patio with casual seafood-and-burger, and it is close enough to feel like part of the same night out.

  • Get: Baja fish tacos, fish and chips, or the crab roll if you are going all-in
  • Where: 855 Terry A Francois Blvd (The Ramp)

A quick game-day tip

If the event starts at 7:00 pm, try to eat by 5:30-6:00. The plaza is at its busiest right before doors, and your meal will feel way more relaxed.
