We Have an Official Opening Date for Slice House Pizza’s New East Bay Location

LIVERMORE, CALIFORNIA – We finally have an official opening date for Slice House by Tony Gemignani’s newest East Bay location.

It’s my favorite East Coast style pizza in the Bay Area, so I’m very excited that there will be another branch. And this one even has an exclusive slice that’s a tribute to Gemignani’s family.

What Slice House will serve in Livermore

Slice House is known for offering multiple regional pizza styles in one place — including New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit — sold by the slice or as whole pies, plus additional menu items like pasta, wings, and salads, with gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

The pies are massive. A single one easily serves my family of five.

This Livermore shop will also feature a location-exclusive slice: “The True Italian” — a New York thin-crust pizza topped with pesto, mozzarella, garlic, tomato, romano, oregano, and garlic oil (with optional add-ons like goat cheese, ricotta, and hot honey).

The restaurant says the pizza is a nod to a beloved pie from Pyzano’s (a Castro Valley pizzeria connected to Gemignani’s early days) and is offered in memory of his late mother, Eileen.
