4 Spots to Visit the Easter Bunny in the 925

If you are trying to squeeze in one more spring outing before Easter, there are still several places around the 925 where families can catch the Easter Bunny for photos, events, or a full-on kid-focused celebration.

A mix of shopping centers and community events in Pleasant Hill, Concord, San Ramon, Dublin, and Pleasanton are hosting bunny appearances this week and weekend.

Downtown Pleasant Hill is hosting an Easter Celebration on Friday, April 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event includes complimentary photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, balloon art, a kids craft station, and treat bags while supplies last. It is set for the plaza near Jack’s at 60 Crescent Drive.

City Center Bishop Ranch has an Easter Bunny event scheduled for Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center’s event listing says guests of all ages are invited, making this one of the easier family stops if you want to pair bunny photos with lunch or shopping.

3. Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord

Sunvalley is running its Easter Bunny Photo Experience through April 5, according to the shopping center’s listing. The center says the bunny arrived March 6 and encourages families to reserve a spot in advance. For anyone in central Contra Costa, this may be one of the most straightforward photo-stop options. 4. Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton

Stoneridge Shopping Center also has an Easter Bunny Photo Experience, with the bunny available through April 4. The mall lists special event hours on April 2, April 3, and April 4, and says families can reserve their visit. The bunny setup is located in the Grand Court on the first level. (Info: Simon)

For families in the 925, the big takeaway is that the options are not limited to just one mall photo setup this year. There are free community-style events, shopping-center photo experiences, and festivals depending on whether you want a quick picture, a few kid activities, or a bigger outing. Some events run only through April 4, so the window is closing fast.
