A Popular Retailer is Returning to Stoneridge Mall

PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA – Following a previous closure, Hollister is set to return to the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton.

Signage for the store recently appeared inside the mall, confirming that the popular teen clothing retailer plans to reopen. While an official opening date hasn’t been announced, the reopening is expected in the latter half of 2026.

Hollister is known for its casual apparel and Southern California-inspired branding and was once a staple for many Bay Area teens. For longtime Tri-Valley shoppers, its return may come as a welcome surprise.

The reopening comes amid ongoing change at Stoneridge, as the mall has been actively revitalizing its retail lineup with new stores and restaurants following several major closures in recent years. Hollister’s return stands out as one of the few instances of a retailer reopening after previously leaving the mall.
