A Popular Boutique Is Returning to Downtown Walnut Creek — For Good
WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA – A popular women’s clothing boutique with deep Walnut Creek roots is returning to the city’s downtown — and this time, the company says it is here to stay.
VICI Collection is preparing to open a permanent store on North Main Street next to Ananas Coffee. Ananas is located at 1372 North Main Street, placing the new boutique right smack in the center of downtown WC.

The new location is not inside Broadway Plaza. VICI operated a popular temporary store at Broadway Plaza during the 2025 holiday season, but the permanent boutique will be in a separate storefront along Main Street.
Sources point to 1366 North Main, the former location of Paia Mercantile.

The shot above shows that space in 2025, but reportedly a new window covering now announce, “We’re coming home,” along with the promise, “And this time, we’re here to stay.”
The store is expected to open in September 2026. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.

This is a genuine homecoming for the company. VICI was founded in Walnut Creek in 2012 by Sandra Sayegh Dudum and Aimee Dudum Colorado. It began as a small, family-owned fashion business before developing into a major direct-to-consumer retailer with a substantial online and social media presence.
VICI sells women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories. The brand is particularly known for its frequent releases of new styles, complete outfit inspiration and fashionable pieces designed for everyday life.
The company previously operated a physical boutique at The Mercer in downtown Walnut Creek. That store opened around 2016 and closed during the summer of 2020, although VICI continued operating and expanding its online business.
The brand made a temporary return to Walnut Creek in September 2025 with a pop-up at 1211 Broadway Plaza, across from Nordstrom. The store was initially scheduled to remain open for approximately six weeks, but its run was extended through the holiday season.
Walnut Creek Downtown described that pop-up as “very well-loved” when announcing the company’s permanent return.
VICI currently lists permanent retail locations in Nashville and at its Fairfield outlet. The company has also been hiring retail sales associates for what its employment listings call the new “Walnut Creek Store.”
In short, after closing its original local boutique, building a national online following and testing a return through last year’s Broadway Plaza pop-up, the Walnut Creek-born brand is coming back to a permanent downtown storefront.
