Lafayette Park Hotel Just Won a Huge Award
LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA — You no longer have to head to Napa or down to Monterey to find a hotel that ranks among Northern California’s best.
Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa has landed at No. 10 in the 2026 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for Northern California hotels, earning a score of 97.98. And it’s right around the corner for folks in the 925!
The rankings, published October 6, put the Lafayette property just behind The Sea Ranch Lodge and ahead of The Lodge at Sonoma Resort and Cavallo Point in Sausalito.
That’s some impressive company for a hotel right here in the 925.

A little French-inspired escape in Lafayette
Located at 3287 Mount Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette Park Hotel offers a chateau-inspired setting with courtyards, fountains and wrought-iron balconies.
The family-owned, independent hotel also has an outdoor pool, an on-site spa, a fitness center and spaces for lounging or getting some work done.
For East Bay residents, that makes it an option for a weekend getaway that doesn’t require a long drive — or a place to put up visiting relatives who want a little more than a spare bedroom. And it’s also a popular local spot for weddings, big events and the like.
The hotel is celebrating its new top-10 recognition on its website.

You can visit for dinner, too
An overnight stay isn’t the only way to enjoy the property.
