Swimming and Aquatic Center

The Clarke Swim Center, located within Heather Farm Park, is a premier destination for swimmers. It boasts multiple pools, including a competition pool, a diving pool, and a training pool. The center offers swimming lessons, water aerobics, and hosts various swim meets throughout the year.

For pet owners, Heather Farm Park offers a spacious and well-maintained dog park. It features separate areas for small and large dogs, water stations, and shaded seating areas for owners. The dog park is a popular spot for dogs to socialize and play off-leash.

Heather Farm is home to a beautiful, walkable botanical garden that’s maintained entirely by volunteers. It’s open daily and is completely free.

The roses are absolutely stunning.

Fishing and Model Boating

The park’s two main ponds are stocked with fish and open for catch-and-release fishing. Small model sailboats are a common sight on the water, making it a charming spot for leisurely play boating activities.

Equestrian Center

  1. Nice article! got me to subscribe to the Telegraph.
    One correction: only the man-made pond behind the community center is stocked and open for fishing. The Natural Lake at Heather Farm is not stocked, and fishing there is prohibited, to protect the sensitive wildlife habitat.
