We Finally Have An Opening Date for Walnut Creek’s Fancy New Bowling Bar

After years of construction, we finally have a confirmed opening date for Walnut Creek, California’s fancy new bowling bar, Pinstripes.

Pinstripes is located in the old Crate and Barrel building at Broadway Plaza. Signage went up last month after over a year of construction, and we were very excited to see the progress.

Now, we have a confirmed opening date.

Pinstripes will open its newest location at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek on Friday, November 15.

This 25,000-square-foot venue will feature a full-service bistro serving Italian-American cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, eight bowling lanes, two indoor bocce courts, and private event spaces for gatherings.

This will be Pinstripes’ 18th location nationwide and its second in the San Francisco area, joining the San Mateo site at Hillsdale Mall. The Walnut Creek venue aims to serve as a new social hub for the community, with plans to host over 1,000 events within its first year.

The Food

Located on South Main Street, the Walnut Creek site includes a 100-seat bistro with an elevated menu featuring seasonal dishes, house-made pizzas, sandwiches, and signature entrées. Highlights include options such as the Legendary Lobster flatbread, the Famous Prime Rib Dip sandwich, and the Filet Mignon Trio. The bistro also offers a weekend brunch buffet, complete with bottomless mimosas, an omelet station, and a carving station.

Pinstripes will also engage with the community by hosting events for local schools, sports teams, and social groups, such as seniors and fitness-focused clubs. The opening is expected to bring approximately 150 new jobs to Walnut Creek.

Located at 1115 Broadway Plaza, Pinstripes will operate Monday through Sunday, with happy hour offerings during the week and brunch available every Saturday and Sunday.
