We Have An Opening Date for San Ramon’s Elegant New Mediterranean Restaurant

San Ramon, CA – Alora, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, is set to open its doors at Bishop Ranch on January 25, 2025.

Known for its celebrated location on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, Alora will bring a more casual, laid-back dining experience while maintaining the bold flavors and hospitality that have made its sister restaurants favorites across the Bay Area.

Led by Executive Chef Nicholas Peters, the menu will feature a range of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including mezze, handmade pastas, sustainable seafood, dry-aged meats, and perfectly grilled skewers.

The menu emphasizes small plates designed for sharing, drawing from the diverse culinary traditions of the Mediterranean. Guests can also look forward to a curated beverage menu, including creatively crafted cocktails.

Alora’s San Ramon location will debut with a warm, inviting indoor dining space, with plans to open a stunning outdoor patio in the spring. The patio is designed to be a vibrant spot for gatherings and dining.

This latest venture is part of AVB Hospitality’s expanding portfolio, which includes ROOH in San Francisco and Palo Alto, Pippal, and Fitoor at Santana Row and Santa Monica.

Keep in mind that the January 25th date is an estimate, and could always change. Make sure to join our free 925 News newsletter so we can keep you updated (and share a review!) as soon as Alora goes live.

  1. I doubt the Almora date, as of last week nothing had been done inside the restaurant (the Chow interior had not been touched).
