One of Broadway Plaza’s Last Remaining Budget Clothing Stores is Shutting Down

We all know that Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, California, is upscale and expensive. But the point is driven home this month as one of the last remaining budget clothing stores at Broadway Plaza announced it would be shutting down.

The Old Navy store at the Plaza is reportedly closing. In a shopping center filled with upscale boutiques and anchored by the very fancy Nordstrom department store, Old Navy was a bit of an anomaly.

Perhaps it wasn’t quite the right vibe for Broadway Plaza. We don’t have an exact closure date yet, but the store will reportedly close and will likely be replaced by a more upscale (and pricier) clothing store.

For those looking for inexpensive clothes—particularly for younger people or kids—this closure marks another lost option.

Of course, you could always drive a bit further up the road to a thrift store like Savers near Rossmoor and find plenty of clothes for even less.
