The Best Gelato Place in the East Bay is Celebrating 7 Years in Business

SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA – Local gelato favorite GIO Gelati is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a week of events, including gourmet tastings and a lively party to thank its customers for years of support.

Gio Gelati is our favorite East Bay gelato place here at the Bay Area Telegraph. We’ve spent an insane amount on gelato there over the year–most recently on their $12 gelato pops.

From January 15 to 18, GIO Gelati invites the community to sample luxurious and creative gelato flavors during its Gourmet Flavor Tasting. The selection is crafted to honor Italian tradition with a modern twist, showcasing the artistry behind each scoop.

The celebration culminates on January 18 with an anniversary party from 3 to 7 PM at GIO’s Union location. The event will feature a live DJ, festive vibes, and a special anniversary flavor. Attendees are encouraged to join the fun, with a unique treat promised for those who show off their dance moves.

“This is our way of saying THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us over the past 7 years. Your love for GIO Gelati has made every scoop, swirl, and smile possible, and we’re so excited to celebrate this milestone with you,” said the GIO Gelati team in a statement.

Mark your calendars and join the celebration either at City Center in San Ramon or at the Union Square location (if you’re really ambitious) as GIO Gelati kicks off its next chapter of delicious desserts and community connection.

San Ramon Location: 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road
