It’s Official! 2025 Dates Set for the Iconic Lafayette Art and Wine Festival

The most iconic festival in Lafayette, California, is officially locked in for 2025!

The Lafayette Art and Wine Festival is now in its 28th year. There was some concern about how the event would survive past COVID, but it’s come back with a bang. Each year, the festival occupies most of downtown Lafayette and draws thousands of visitors.

This year, organizers say they have more than 20 bands performing on four different stages. The process of getting into the festival is apparently very competitive, local bands tell us, so the quality of music should be great.

At this year’s festival, you’ll also find over 250 arts and crafts booths, including a special area for local artists selling their work.

The Art and Wine Festival has officially added “Music” to its title this year, but the wine is still a prominent piece! The festival features California varietals, as well as other offerings like craft beer and food from local restaurants, food trucks, and more.

Wondering whether it makes sense to bring the kids? I’ve taken my kids several times, and it’s been a great experience for them.

This year, the festival features four different kids’ zones with games and other activities. I remember cruising around a parking lot in a big “train” pulled by a little tractor in previous years.

Although out-of-town vendors are handled by a separate production company, local vendors can apply to join the festival at LafayetteFestival.com/apply.

So, when is all the excitement coming to Lafayette? The dates are officially set for September 20 and 21, 2025.

Save the date on your calendar—and maybe start scouting out parking now. We’re joking, but that does tend to be one of the most challenging aspects of the festival!

We’re super excited to see the Lafayette Art, Wine & Music Festival returning to the city this year, and we’re thrilled that this local gem has made it through the storms of the COVID era with flying colors.
