We Finally Found Out What’s Coming Across from Trader Joe’s in Walnut Creek (It’s Exciting)

WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA – For months now, readers have been writing in to us here at the Bay Area Telegraph to ask what new store is coming in across from Trader Joe’s in Walnut Creek, California.

We’re usually quite good at figuring out upcoming restaurants well before they open – we discovered Stereo 41 in Walnut Creek by combing through City Council records, for example.

For the longest time, though, we couldn’t figure out what was going into the new space at 1375 South California Blvd.

Now, we finally know! The new space will host Barebottle Brewing Company, a creative craft brewery with roots in San Francisco.

Barebottle is very focused on the local area. All of their beers are inspired by local ingredients found around the Bay Area.

They’re also intimately connected with the local homebrew community. They include a recipe for beer on all of their bottles, and they have a competitive process through which home brewers can create a beer in partnership with them.

We don’t know too much about what the Walnut Creek location will look like – we just found out about it today! But if it’s anything like the other locations, it should be a fantastic place to grab a brew.

Make sure to join our free 925 News newsletter so we can keep you in the loop as soon as we learn more, and share all the new restaurants opening along the 925 with you.

  1. Thomas, what happened to the no kings rally at Bway plaza and Beebop at the Lindsay? Don’t you think that’s a little more important and current than a brewery opening whenever ? Just saying !!
