SAN RAMON, Calif. — City Center Bishop Ranch will host Taste of City Center, a 10-day restaurant week running Sept. 19–28, with prix fixe menus, limited-time dishes and special offers across its dining lineup.

Two marquee events anchor the series: a first-ever Cocktail Competition on Sept. 21 (5–7 p.m.) and the September Sips wine tasting on Sept. 28 (2–4:30 p.m.).

Participating restaurants and specialty shops: Pretty much all of them!
Alora Social, Bamboo Sushi, Delarosa, Fieldwork Brewing, GIO Gelati, Joe & the Juice, KHAKI, LB Steak, Mendocino Farms, Miette, MIXT, Ramen Hiroshi, ROAM Burgers, Salt & Straw, The Slanted Door, Social Affair, World Wrapps and ZENTRL Kitchen + Bar will all be joining the Restaurant week.

I just tried LB Steak, and will have a full review of Alora out shortly (join our 925 News newsletter to make sure you get that when we publish it).

Cocktail Competition (Sept. 21, 5–7 p.m., Social Affair): Bartenders from City Center restaurants will compete head-to-head, presenting original cocktails and sharing their inspiration. A comedian-mixologist will host. Guests can sample cocktails and small bites while a judging panel selects the winner.

September Sips (Sept. 28, 2–4:30 p.m.): Guests who spend $300 or more at participating Taste of City Center restaurants between Sept. 19–26 receive a complimentary ticket. Additional tickets are $30, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation and its local charity partners.

Each ticket includes a wristband, wine glass and tasting map for exploring pours from 12 wineries: Arroyo Cellars, Del Valle Winery, Garre, McGrail Vineyards & Winery, Murrieta’s Well, Pruett Farms, Retzlaff Vineyards, Rios Lovell Winery, Rosa Fierro Cellars, The Steven Kent Winery, Wente Vineyards and Wood Family Vineyards.
