Hollies Homegrown Will Reopen in New Brant Development in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – When the construction fences finally came down at Lafayette, California’s new Brant development, we discovered something wonderful.

A beloved, local “Homegrown” store is returning to Lafayette, its original home. And the store is doing it in style!

Hollie’s Homegrown is coming soon to one of several brand new storefronts at the Brant. In case you’re not familiar with the development, it’s the mixed-use condo building across from Trader Joe’s in Lafayette, at 3664 Mount Diablo Blvd.

It’s been under construction forever! But the development is finally almost done (more on that soon–join our 925 news newsletter so we can share details), and the first retail tenants have been announced.

As we’ve covered extensively, Western Flyer brewing is moving into the gigantic space on the corner. People are extremely excited about that one.

But one of the other, smaller retail stores was a mystery–until now!

Hollie’s confirmed on its Instagram that the store had signed a lease for a “permanent home” at the Brant.

The journey to this point has been a long one. Hollie’s Homegrown was originally located near Sideboard, on the corner storefront by Lafayette Plaza Park.

When the store had to move due to issues with renewing its lease, locals were devastated. Hollie’s opened up in Walnut Creek, across from the new Ananas coffee. But Hollie always told locals that she hoped to return to Lafayette and was actively exploring options.

The store had a small popup in Clocks etc before it closed down.

Now, Hollie’s is coming back. And the store is doing it in style! The Brant is brand new and looks beautiful, with a giant courtyard outside, and the massive stainless steel tanks of Western Flyer already visible through two-story glass windows.

Hollie’s will occupy a smaller space, but still will be in a brand new storefront that promises to have tons of foot traffic.

Hollie’s Homegrown sells locally made products, but also held events like wine tastings and food pairings. The store won a Martha Stewart American Made National Food honor.

According to signage at the future location, Hollie’s Homegrown will offer “Fine teas, wine tastings, local honey, olive oil, vinegar, bath and beauty, seasoning salts, and local artisan gifts”.

When will the new store open? Hollie’s Homegrown says to expect an opening in Spring of 2026.

We’ll keep you posted on details and give you a first look inside when it opens. We’ll also have tons more info about and photos of the new Brant development in the next 24 hours. Make sure to click here and join our free 925 News newsletter so we can send both of those to you.
