Alamo Has a Totally Free Concert Series Rocking Out in July

There is no ticket price, no complicated reservation process, and no reason not to bring a blanket.

Alamo’s beloved Summer Concert Series is returning to Livorna Park this July with four Friday-night shows that cover everything from Beatles favorites to big ’80s rock anthems, country hits, and classic-rock singalongs.

The free outdoor series begins Friday, July 10 and continues each Friday through July 31. Every concert runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Livorna Park, located at the corner of Livorna Road and Miranda Avenue.

The lineup has a little something for nearly every generation of local music fans.

The 2026 Alamo Summer Concert Series lineup

Friday, July 10: The Sun Kings
The series opens with The Sun Kings, one of the Bay Area’s most recognizable Beatles tribute bands. Expect the harmonies, the early rock-and-roll vibes, and plenty of songs that make it hard to stay seated (or reclined on your blanket!)

Friday, July 17: Fourjour
The following week brings Fourjour, a tribute act focused on the arena-rock sound of Foreigner and Journey. This is the night for anyone who has ever attempted to hit the high notes in “Don’t Stop Believin'” from the driver’s seat.

Friday, July 24: Highway Vagabonds
Country fans get their turn on July 24, when Highway Vagabonds bring a Miranda Lambert tribute show to Alamo. The performance should provide a more country-forward change of pace after two weeks of rock nostalgia.

Friday, July 31: Fog City Swampers
The final night belongs to Fog City Swampers, a high-energy classic-rock cover band known for playing crowd-pleasing songs from artists including Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

Food trucks will be available at the concerts, though attendees are also encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner. Chairs, blankets, family members, and friends are all part of the recommended setup.
