A Long-Time Lafayette Business Has Quietly Closed for Good
LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA– Leslie’s Pool Supplies has closed its longtime Lafayette store at 3389 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, leaving local pool owners with one fewer place to pick up chlorine, replace a worn-out pump or get help with a pool cleaner.
The company’s Lafayette store page now redirects to a closure notice that directs customers to other Leslie’s locations. The notice gives no last day of business or reason specific to Lafayette. See the Lafayette store’s closure notice.

Leslie’s had been at that address for more than a decade. The company’s 2015 commercial pool supply catalog lists the same storefront on Mt. Diablo Boulevard, between Moraga Road and Pleasant Hill Road.

Lafayette Was Still an Option in Early October
When Leslie’s shut its Walnut Creek and Concord stores earlier this fall, Lafayette was among the nearby locations where customers could still shop. The Lafayette closure takes that option off the list. Read our October 4 coverage of the Walnut Creek and Concord closures.
Again, at the time, Lafayette seemed like it would persist. Now, that’s unfortunately changed.
Leslie’s filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on September 30 and announced 76 store closures nationwide at the time. The company said it would keep operating its remaining stores and online business while it restructures. It also said it would continue to honor gift cards and loyalty benefits.
Where Lafayette Customers Can Go Now
Leslie’s still lists its Pleasant Hill store at 25 Vivian Drive, near Contra Costa Boulevard. The store offers free pool water testing and can be reached at 925-686-4975
