A few months ago, we wrote about a mysterious new store coming to Walnut Creek, California. All we knew about it was that it was called the Château.
We speculated that it might be some kind of boutique clothing store, or perhaps a restaurant.
Turns out the Château will be a restaurant. How do we know? Even though construction is still underway, the owners of this mysterious new place have applied for a liquor license.
Unless they’re a clothing store selling booze, so that probably means the Château is indeed a restaurant.
Stopping by, we noticed that there’s been a bit of work on the construction inside, but it still seems like things have a way to go before this new location will open.
They’re probably waiting to get all the permits in place before they finish building the interior. We’re excited to hear what this new restaurant turns out to be.
