These 10 Photos Prove that Eataly in San Jose is Truly an Italian Foodie’s Paradise
Eataly at the Westfield Mall in San Jose, California is a a three-story Italian food and pizza paradise. Words alone fail to capture the amazingness of this place, which combines multiple restaurants, a massive Italian wine story, a market with 1000+ cheeses, a gelato stand, and far more.
So, we decided to show you Eataly in pictures!
You enter Eataly from the bustling outdoor plaza of the mall.

Inside, you’ll find an Italian bakery and takeout pizza place. They make the pies right in front of you!

Head to the second floor for a giant selection of Italian wines. The bottles go from floor to ceiling and include every region in Italy.
My favorite part of Eataly, though, is the third floor. There you’ll find an Italian food market and restaurants. There’s homemade raw pasta, thousands of cheeses, and much more.

You can even watch a staff member make fresh mozzarella cheese right in front of you.

Next, head into either the Terra restaurant, a rooftop wood-fired Italian grill, or La Pizza & La Pasta. I like the latter, which serves amazing homemade pasta and thin, Naples-style pizzas.

It can get busy, so make sure to have a reservation in advance, especially on the weekends!

I ate a whole pizza myself, and I have no regrets.

When you’re done with your meal, head back to the first floor of Eataly and grab some gelato. I got their chocolate hazelnut flavor. It’s one of the best gelatos I’ve had in the Bay Area. Even the cups and spoons are imported from Italy.

If you love Italian food, you absolutely have to check Eataly out the next time you’re in San Jose.
