One of America’s Top Ramen Spots is Opening Another East Bay Restaurant

DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA – When we learned that one of America’s top ramen restaurants would open a location in Walnut Creek, many here in the East Bay rejoiced.

WC already has the excellent Ramen Hiroshi, and now it’s getting two more excellent ramen spots (more below).

Now, though, we’ve learned that one of those top-tier ramen places is going to grace the 925 with yet another new restaurant.

Marufuku Ramen has posted a dedicated Dublin location page on its official website, listing the new outpost as “Coming Soon” at 4288 Dublin Blvd #101, Dublin, CA 94568.

That address puts Marufuku in Dublin Ulferts Center, the food-heavy shopping center along Dublin Boulevard that’s anchored by Koi Palace and packed with other Asian eateries.

If you know the Ulferts Center corridor, you already know why this is a smart fit. The center bills itself as a Tri-Valley dining hub with “globally inspired lifestyle and international cuisine,” and it sits right along the 680/580 commute funnel (plus it even touts onsite Tesla Superchargers).

Marufuku’s own listing confirms the Dublin address and the “Coming Soon” status, but it does not yet publish hours, an opening date, or online ordering links for this location.

Marufuku has built a reputation for Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen — the rich, milky pork-bone broth that’s simmered for long hours and paired with ultra-thin noodles and chashu pork.

It’s best known as a very trendy, sometimes hard to get into spot in the city. I’ve stopped by for ramen before while going to a conference, and it’s excellent.

That future opening–along with the Dublin announcement–means the brand seems to be betting big on the East Bay.

If Dublin follows the pattern of other Marufuku locations, expect a line at peak hours early on — especially because this is one of those brands that Tri-Valley diners have often had to trek west for.

No word yet on an opening date. Make sure to join my free 925 News newsletter so I can let you know as soon as we confirm a date.
