A popular Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in Lafayette, California, has closed permanently, the Bay Area Telegraph learned. But there’s good news!
This well-known and long-time establishment was located on Mount Diablo Blvd. It was a favorite spot for people to enjoy delicious meat dishes, rice, and more.
They also provided excellent catering services!
The closed restaurant is Lavash.
When the Bay Area Telegraph stopped by, we noticed the restaurant had shuttered. We spoke to the owners and found out something great, though.
Although the Lafayette location is closed, they’re still offering catering services. If you want to enjoy their delicious cuisine at your party, you can visit their website and place a catering order.
And it gets better. We were told that Silk Road restaurant in Walnut Creek, California, is run by the same people who brought you Lavash. So if you still want to enjoy their food in a sit-down meal, you can head over to Silk Road.
And there’s one final piece of good news. A new restaurant is coming into the space formerly occupied by Lavash. Join our 955 News newsletter so we can keep you updated on the new place.
So, it’s a mix of good and bad news; one of those instances where we have to say goodbye to a beloved Lafayette spot, but thankfully, the food and the space it occupied live on!
