Beware! Mount Diablo Blvd Will Be Closed on These Dates and Times for Art and Wine Festival

The Lafayette Art Wine and Music Festival is right around the corner! That means amazing musicians and vendors will be flooding into downtown Lafayette for the annual festival, which is one of the best in the area.

But it also means some pretty significant road closures! If you’re planning to drive through Lafayette near to the festival dates, you’ll want to keep those closures in mind.

Here are the details.

Mt. Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette, California, will be closed between Oak Hill Road and Dewing Avenue from Friday, September 20, to Sunday, September 22, due to the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival. The closure will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, continue all day Saturday, and last until 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Residents and visitors are advised to plan alternate routes during this time. The Lafayette Art & Wine Festival is one of the city’s major annual events, featuring local art, wine, music, and entertainment.

We can’t wait to go–and you should go too. Just don’t try to drive through downtown when the festival is happening, or you’ll find yourself taking a lengthy detour!
