We Finally Know What’s Replacing Kelly Moore Paints in Lafayette

When the national Kelly Moore paint brand shut down earlier this year, the local branches of the national paint chain were forced to do the same.

That meant that Kelly Moore Paints in downtown Lafayette, California had to close down. The big store on Mount Diablo Blvd just West of downtown had been there for a while, and it wasn’t clear what would take its place.

Well, now we know! The new place coming in to replace Kelly Moore Paints is… (drum roll please)

Another paint store!

As we were driving by (thus the blurry photo from the passenger’s seat), the Bay Area Telegraph noticed a big sign on the former location announcing that it will become a Benjamin Moore paint store.

Specifically, it will be Mark’s Paint Mart Lamorinda.
