Here’s What’s Replacing Neiman Marcus in Walnut Creek
When the Neiman Marcus department store in downtown Walnut Creek, California closed down, it left a big void in the city’s downtown.
Yes, we still have Macy’s and Nordstrom, so Walnut Creek isn’t in danger of running out of department stores any time soon.
But Neiman Marcus was an upscale place, and the building–which is right there on Main Street–has such striking architecture that it was a shame for it to sit empty.
Well, now we know what’s going in there to replace the old Neiman Marcus.
As Beyond the Creek reports, it’s going to be a Restoration Hardware Gallery store, like the one down in Palo Alto.
Yes, there’s already a Restoration Hardware in WC. But this one will apparently be grander.
Restoration Hardware did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the story.
