Photos: The Incredible Beauty of Orinda’s Inspiration Point

Inspiration Point and the Nimitz Way Trail are some of the most beautiful spots in the 925–and perhaps anywhere in the Bay Area.

Start in the parking lot off Wildcat Canyon road (you’ll have to drive around via Fish Ranch, as the road to Orinda is currently closed), meander down the paved Nimitz Way trail, and you’ll find stunning views of Mount Diablo, Mount Tam, and even the Golden Gate Bridge.
