Our Favorite San Ramon Holiday Popup Toy Store Has Sadly Closed

Holiday pop-up stores are usually there just for a few months during the busy (and lucrative) holiday season. However, there was one at City Center Bishop Ranch that we really hoped would stick around.

Sadly, it wasn’t to be. The Five Little Monkeys pop-up store at City Center Bishop Ranch has officially closed now that the holiday season is over. When the Bay Area Telegraph stopped by, we saw the store being dismantled.

The Five Little Monkeys pop-up at City Center Bishop Ranch was surprisingly large, considering how temporary it ended up being. It was filled with all kinds of toys, from educational ones to items like Legos, books, and much more.

Even in the short time the pop-up was open, we still managed to spend several hundred dollars on holiday gifts there!

Now that it’s closed, you’ll have to head over to the permanent Five Little Monkeys location in downtown Lafayette, California. That’s a great store too, and it’s probably better for us in the long run. After all, City Center doesn’t have a world-class toy store.

Still, we’re sad to see this pop-up go. Maybe City Center will consider having a permanent toy store as one of their tenants in the future.

In the meantime, at least there’s a new play space going in there!
