BERKELEY, CA — The annual Westbrae Nursery Pumpkin Patch returns this fall, running from September 26 through October 31, 2024, at 1272 Gilman Street in Berkeley’s Westbrae neighborhood. The event is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Organized by Westbrae Nursery, a worker-owned cooperative, the pumpkin patch goes beyond being a mere seasonal attraction — 100% of pumpkin sales benefit Cornell Elementary School, located nearby in North Berkeley.

Visitors can browse a wide selection of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors in the festive outdoor setting tucked in the back of the nursery. The patch has become a local favorite and is one of the few pumpkin patches located within Berkeley city limits.

In addition to pumpkins, a fall-themed bake sale will be held on-site on two dates: Friday, October 18, and Thursday, October 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds from the bake sale will also go toward supporting Cornell Elementary.

The Westbrae Pumpkin Patch is a popular stop for families, especially with its proximity to other neighborhood favorites like Headlands Brewing, Adega Azul Wine Shop and Bar, Coffee Conscious, Berkeley Bagels, and Three One Four pizza lounge.
