Video: A Look Inside San Ramon’s New “Social” Mediterranean Spot

SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA – Earlier this year, City Center Bishop Ranch got a brand new, gigantic Mediterranean restuarant.

Alora Social opened in the former Chow spot in the corner. A few months after the opening, Alora Social hosted me so I could try out a bunch of their food–including a gigantic platter of meats!

Here’s a look at the best dishes I tried–and lots of tasty cocktails, too!

Here’s the ambiance at the restaurant. They kept the Chow innards but added a lot to make the space their own.

Appetizers, including burrata and focaccia bread. The light was stunning when we arrived!

As I share in the video, Alora Social has solid and not too sweet cocktails. Very creative twists on some classics here, too!

This giant plate of meats was very shareable for two people, and we still had leftovers.

Room for dessert?
