The Gardens at Heather Farm Are Holding a Very Special Breakfast

Walnut Creek, CA – The Gardens at Heather Farm will once again host its beloved Teddy Bear Tea the first weekend of December, marking the 39th year of this holiday tradition.

The event will be held at 1540 Marchbanks Drive, Walnut Creek, with four sessions available:

  • Saturday, December 6, 2025: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 7, 2025: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Designed especially for children ages 3 to 9, the Teddy Bear Tea is a festive, winter-themed tea party featuring decorations, music, and appearances by sugar plum fairies and teddy bears. Kids are encouraged to wear their “fancy dress,” sip (decaffeinated) tea or juice from china cups, and enjoy a buffet of sandwiches, savories, and sweets provided by Sunrise Bistro & Catering.

The event also includes a raffle, a holiday boutique, and take-home party favors for all children. While all ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Tables seat 10 guests and are assigned in advance, with the option to request seating with friends when purchasing tickets.

Proceeds from the Teddy Bear Tea benefit the education and garden programs at The Gardens at Heather Farm, a nonprofit organization. The event is supported by sponsors and volunteers from the community.
