PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA – Pleasanton’s newest destination for wine, cocktails and Vietnamese-American food is celebrating its official grand opening today.
Fusion Wine Bar will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce at noon on Tuesday, July 28. The restaurant is located at 3030 Bernal Avenue, Suite 220, in the shopping center near the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Valley Avenue.
Although Fusion Wine Bar has already been welcoming customers through a soft-opening period, today’s ceremony marks its formal introduction to the Pleasanton business community.

The restaurant combines a neighborhood wine bar atmosphere with a menu of Vietnamese-American fusion dishes. Its beverage selection includes local wines, draft beer, sake, soju, mocktails and handcrafted cocktails.
The food menu is considerably larger than the name “wine bar” might suggest.
Customers can order shareable dishes such as pork egg rolls, crispy shrimp rolls, seafood bruschetta, chicken wings, crab cakes, Vietnamese pancakes, fresh spring rolls and shrimp wrapped in bacon. Larger options include Vietnamese sizzling plates, chicken fried rice and a selection of salads.
Fusion also offers several meat-free dishes, including vegan egg rolls, vegan gyoza, dragon enoki mushrooms, agedashi tofu cake and vegan papaya salad.
A New Venture From a Familiar Pleasanton Business Owner
Fusion Wine Bar is owned by Pleasanton entrepreneur Tammy Nguyen, who previously built her career in the nail salon industry and operates T’s Nail Bar next door.
Nguyen told Pleasanton Weekly last year that she had spent years planning the wine bar and waiting for the right opportunity to move forward. The restaurant held its initial soft launch in late 2025 before gradually expanding its operations.
