A New Pleasanton Pottery Studio Offers Fun Classes, Helps Artists Sell Their Work
PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA – If you ever wanted to try pottery but didn’t know where to start, a new studio in Pleasanton is giving locals a place to get their hands dirty. Clay All Day is an all-new community ceramics studio offering everything from beginner classes for amateurs to open studio time for more experienced artists.
Located at 1061 Serpentine Lane, Suite G, Clay All Day officially opened on July 18. The studio has more than 28 pottery wheels and spans over 2,000 square feet of space.
Visitors can choose from wheel-throwing and hand-building classes. These include one-time introductory sessions focusing on the fundamentals as well as six-week sessions for those looking to make a deeper commitment.
For those who prefer to create without a wheel, the studio hosts hand-building classes that focus on traditional techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building.
The studio also offers memberships for artists who want regular access to the space. Members get virtually unlimited studio hours with firing fees included, as well as their own shelf and access to the studio outside of regular business hours.
For younger artists, Clay All Day is developing summer camps and after-school programs where kids can work on different clay projects and learn techniques ranging from pinch pots to slab building. Kids ages 10 and up can also try their hand at the pottery wheel.
In addition to workspace, the studio even has its own 250-square-foot Kingberry Gallery, where local artists can display and sell their finished work to the public. Resident artists can also submit their work for potential exhibitions.

The space is also available for private events with groups of five or more. Guests can choose between hand-building, wheel throwing, or sculptural projects for birthdays, corporate events, and more. Private parties start at $120 per person for a two-hour hosted activity.
Finished pieces can be trimmed and glazed for an additional fee and are generally ready for pickup within a few weeks.
