Voters can also return their completed vote-by-mail ballots at a polling place. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
If you plan to mail your ballot, it must be postmarked by November 3. Contra Costa County recommends taking it inside a post office and asking for a postmark.
Residents who missed the regular registration deadline can still register and vote in person through conditional voter registration at the county Elections Office or an Election Day polling place.
