Up the Creek Records’ Grand New Location is Open in Walnut Creek

Up the Creek Records, a vinyl record store in Walnut Creek, California, used to occupy a fairly small space. You’d think that in the age of streaming music, vinyl records would be a niche pursuit.
Not any more!
Younger consumers and older audiophiles who remember records from their youth are both embracing vinyl. Some people actually play their records–others just display them on the wall or around their house.
No matter your use for vinyl, the growth of interest in this retro tech has been a boon for record stores like Up the Creek.
The store just reopened in a grand new space in Walnut Creek, California formerly occupied by Terra Outdoor Living.
The new space, as we reported before, will feature performance spaces and other amenities in addition to selling records.
Moving all the vinyl over to the new location took some time. But Up the Creek Records in now officially open in the new spot.
