Five Little Monkeys Just Opened a Brilliant New Toy Store in San Ramon

It’s big news for our kids, and tough news for our wallets!

One of the Bay Area’s best independent toy stores has officially opened a new branch at City Center, Bishop Ranch, in San Ramon, California.

This fantastic store already has a location in Lafayette, California. They used to be in Walnut Creek, but that location has since closed. Now, they’re back and better than ever at City Center.

The store is Five Little Monkeys. The Five Little Monkeys at City Center, Bishop Ranch, just opened in time for the holidays.

The store is located near Equinox Gym, across from The Slanted Door, on the first level of City Center. We stopped by to check it out.

The City Center Five Little Monkeys is huge! Unlike some of their other locations in smaller legacy shopping centers, this one has tall ceilings and bright lighting. The toys look super inviting on the shelves.

Like all Five Little Monkeys locations, the City Center branch is extremely well-organized and packed to the gills with a wide variety of toys.

They have learning toys and educational items, but also popular Lego sets, action figures, dolls, and other mainstream toys your kids will love—and that you’ll need to bring to birthday parties.

One great feature of Five Little Monkeys is that they’ll gift-wrap your toys for you. When your kids are attending a million birthday parties every weekend, that’s a really excellent, time-saving hack.

The new Five Little Monkeys is open seven days a week.

That’s perfect because it means you can head to City Center for lunch at Dumpling Time or Marugame Udon, run over to Five Little Monkeys to grab a gift, and still make it to your kid’s birthday party, even on a Saturday or Sunday.
