Headlands Brewery, A Popular Local Beer Garden is Expanding to Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA – A popular local beer garden is opening a new location in Walnut Creek, California, right across from the BART station in Contra Costa Transit Village on the Pleasant Hill border.

The new location features outdoor seating with cozy fire pits and a great selection of locally brewed beers on tap.

This beer garden is the latest branch of Headlands Brewing Company. Headlands also operates another beer garden in downtown Lafayette, California, located right next to the delicious new Horn Barbecue.

The Lafayette location has a similar vibe, with casual outdoor seating and a menu featuring beer garden classics like hot dogs and sausages, along with plenty of local brews on tap.

The Lafayette location brews its own beers in a tiny, packed space. They’re great!

The new beer garden is a welcome addition to Contra Costa Transit Village.

Its menu features an expanded selection of foods, including sandwiches and burgers.

It joins a recently opened pizza place as well as the long-standing Parada, one of our favorite Peruvian spots in the Bay Area.

You can grab a beer and some snacks after work at the new beer garden, then take a nice walk down the Iron Horse Trail to the Contra Costa Canal Trail to burn it off.

Headlands Walnut Creek is currently in a soft open. It’s located at 2999 OAK ROAD, SUITE A WALNUT CREEK, CA.
