Lafayette’s New Store is a Paradise for Anglers – Here’s the Launch Date

LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – When we originally saw signs for Crosswater Creek Outfitters in downtown Lafayette, California, we had no idea what the store would be.

It was initially a complete mystery, but knowledgeable neighbors—and ultimately the founders of the company—reached out to share some details.

We learned that Crosswater Creek—which is right across from Amarin Thai, another classic Lafayette spot on Mount Diablo Boulevard—will be a fly fishing and angling lifestyle store.

The store will sell all kinds of fishing gear, as well as provide a venue for anglers to come together and share their experiences.

It’s a family-owned business started by three people who are passionate about fishing and fishing culture. Initially, we weren’t sure if the rivers on the storefront’s design were metaphorical or not. Now, we know they’re real, and the store is genuinely about going to the river and trying to catch some fish!

We also now have an official launch date: Crosswater Creek Outfitters will open on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The store is located at 3574 Mount Diablo Blvd. Stop by to check them out when they open!
